Family Business

Hodges Jewelry & Gifts has been serving Barry County since 1931. The Button Family; Nan, Don and Deb purchased the store in 1985 as a family business, and take pride in their work, from the variety of merchandise on their selling floor to the jewelers bench. Specializing in fine diamonds that will fulfill your dreams (but are priced for your wallet). Carrying a wide variety of gold, silver, gemstones, costume jewelry, and unique giftware and gifts for every occasion.

Deb and Patti go to gift shows twice a year to look for new and fresh gift ideas as well as continuing to carry the traditional gifts found at Hodges. Deb also goes to Jewelry buying shows yearly so Hodges can offer fashion and current jewelry. Graduating from Western Michigan University in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing, and also graduating from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) with G.I.A Diamond Certification. Deb has also received the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO)  IJO Diamond Certified Grader. Actively involving herself in the Hastings Area, she has been on the Barry County Chamber of Commerce board for 15 years, served 25 years on the Barry County United Way Board and is on the Hastings Downtown Development Authority Board. Deb also is a member of the Lakewood Area Choral Society and Hastings Rotary Member.
